Motorola Razr 50 Ultra and the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 6 Display

Compared to the Razr 50 Ultra and the Galaxy Z Flip 6, Motorola has the larger screen. Motorola appears to have a slight advantage in the display market on paper. The primary screen of the Razr 50 Ultra measures 6.9 inches and is made of LTPO AMOLED. It supports HDR10+, Dolby Vision, FHD+, a 165Hz refresh rate, and a peak brightness of 3000 nits. The cover display is a 4-inch LTPO AMOLED panel with Dolby Vision, Corning Gorilla Glass Victus, a 165Hz refresh rate, and 2400 nits of peak brightness. In contrast, Samsung’s Galaxy Z Flip 6 has a 6.7-inch Dynamic LTPO AMOLED 2X main screen that is slightly smaller, has FHD+ resolution, 2600 nits of peak brightness, HDR10+, and a 120Hz refresh rate. Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2 and a 3.4-inch Super AMOLED display with a 60Hz refresh rate make up the external panel. As a result, Motorola’s Razr 50 Ultra has screens that are not only taller but also brighter and smoother.

Design

Leather versus Glass Sticking to contemporary patterns, Motorola has delivered the Razr 50 Ultra with a vegetarian cowhide back. An aluminum 6000 series material and a hinge made of stainless steel cover its display. The water-resistant rating of the flip phone is IPX8. In the meantime, the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 6 retains the same glass back design as its predecessor. An enhanced armor aluminum frame that is more resistant to scratches surrounds this. The Z Flip 6 is dust- and water-resistant with an IP48 rating.

Specifications of the Flagship

The Qualcomm flagship Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC powers the premium foldable phone known as the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 6. It outperforms the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 processor in terms of performance, which powers the Motorola Razr 50 Ultra. Both smartphones have 512GB of internal storage and 12GB of RAM. A 4,000mAh battery pack powers both devices. However, only 25W wired fast charging, 15W wireless charging, and 4.5W reverse wireless charging are supported by Samsung’s most recent flip phone. With 45W wired fast charging, 15W wireless charging, and support for 5W reverse wireless charging, the Razr 50 Ultra has an advantage.

On the Z Flip series, Samsung has finally upgraded the camera, adding a 12-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens and a 50-megapixel primary sensor with OIS (Optical Image Stabilization). However, there is still a 10-megapixel camera on the front. A 50-megapixel main sensor with optical image stabilization (OIS) is also used by Motorola, but it is paired with a 50-megapixel telephoto camera with a 2x optical zoom. A 32-megapixel camera is on the front for taking selfies and making video calls.
